While in Harpers Ferry, we were able to walk up the AT a (very) short bit to check out Jefferson Rock. This was the view of the rivers coming together, from that historic point. It was early morning and the light was amazing. While I am not a huge hiker (my thing is more bike riding/ mountain biking) I wouldn't mind checking out some more towns along the AT. Ashville, NC here I come! :)
I have been working through some of my images from Shenandoah National Park that I took on my recent trip. We drove most of the Skyline Drive from North to South. This is a view from one of the over looks. Check out a few more from this trip and others on my Travel page.
Wanted to share this. I was lucky enough to be able to take a little break from teaching to travel over the last couple weeks. I spent some time in Connecticut and then West Virginia and Virginia. I shot this time lapse from the balcony of Bed N Biskit, an awesome AirBnB in Harpers Ferry, WV.
Happy summer time! I know I am ready for a much-needed summer break; a bit of time to travel, see family and friends and work on personal projects. I look forward to trying out some new shooting techniques and may some... wait for it.. video! Watch this space for any new projects!
In the meantime, here is a little throwback image for #ThrowbackThursday from a trip to Tulum, Mexico. The view and the beach were breathtaking. Enjoy!
Happy Father's Day to all the dads and soon-to-be-dads. Here is on of my favorites of my father, Rocky.
Happy Pride to all the LGBTQ folks! We don't celebrate Pride in Durham, NC until September. (I think because it is just too hot down here in June!) For#ThrowbackThursday, here are a couple of images I shot at NC PRIDE 2016. I look forward to attending this event again for 2017!
Here is a short slideshow video I did to help out my cousin's son, Nar. He is affected by Hyper IgM, an immune disorder. It affects his life daily. He will be his journey to life long health this Spring with a bone marrow transplant. You can help here.
